Fans of Chappell Roan’s high-gloss pop theatre and Taylor Swift’s hook-led romantic micro-dramas will find a lot to clutch here, especially in the way Gilvary turns a tiny time span into a full-body fixation.

Not only has she raised the pop bar, but she’s also raised the bar for the hopeless romantics.
